Ingredients:
Shrimp/Prawns - 2lbs or 1kg
Onions - 2,chopped
Tomato - 1,chopped
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Coriander powder - 1tbspn
Chilli powder - 1tspn
Green Chillies - 4,chopped
Red Chillies - 3
Cumin/jeera - 2tspn
Vinegar - 2tbspn
Warm water - 2tbspn
Coconut - 1cup,grated
Turmeric powder - 1/4tspn
Ginger garlic paste - 1tbspn
Cloves,Cardomom,cinamon,bayleaf - 2 each
Corainder leaves - for garnishing
Method:
1. Soak the cumin and R.Chillies in Vinegar and warm water
2. Grind the soaked items with coconut and tomato to a fine paste and finally add 4-5 raw shrimps and grind it.
3. Heat the oil in a skillet,add the whole garam masala and fry for a minute
4. Add the onions,G.Chillies,C.leaves and fry for couple of minutes then add the ginger garlic paste,turmeric powder
5. Now add the ground paste and fry for 3mins without adding any water
6. When the oil gets seperated from the mixture,add the corainder,chilli powder and fry for a minute and add some water to it
7. When it comes to a boil,add the shrimp and the coriander leaves and let it cook for 2mins and cover it
8. Add fresly ground pepper and coriander leaves when serving with Roti's or Rice.
